Privacy policy
How this website handles personal data, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / revDSG).
1. Who is responsible
Marina Huerta, MH by Marketing (sole proprietorship / Einzelunternehmen)
Zurich, Switzerland
Email: [email protected]
For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights, write to the email address above.
2. Website hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To deliver the pages and protect them against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This data is not used by me to identify you.
3. Google Analytics — only with your consent
With your consent, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA) to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics is only loaded after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, or until you choose, no Google Analytics code is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
When you accept, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location (country/city), your device and browser, and certain interactions — clicks on the email address or the call booking link, and successful contact form submissions. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_E90RZC0LZ3, which last up to two years.
Event-level analytics data is kept for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. The retention period is reset each time the same user is active on the website again.
You can change your choice at any time via (also in the footer of every page). If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops loading and its cookies are removed from your browser.
4. Contact form
If you use the contact form, the data you enter — name, email address, company or website, the service you're interested in, your message and when you'd like to start — is sent via Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) and delivered to my email inbox. I use it only to answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare that collaboration.
5. Email
If you write to me by email, and when contact form messages arrive, they are stored in my Gmail account (Google). I keep them only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting collaboration, and as required by statutory retention periods.
6. Booking a call
Discovery calls are booked through a Google Calendar appointment page and held on Google Meet (Google LLC). When you book, Google processes the details you enter — such as your name, email address and chosen time — and the call itself is handled by Google Meet. Google's own privacy policy applies to these services.
7. Social media links
This website links to Instagram and LinkedIn. No data is sent to these platforms until you click a link and open their website, where their own privacy policies apply.
8. Disclosure abroad
Some of the providers above — Cloudflare, Google and Formspree — are based in the USA, so your data may be transferred there. Each transfer relies on the safeguards the respective provider offers: standard contractual clauses or certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
9. How long data is kept
Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the nFADP you have the right to:
- know whether and which personal data about you is processed (right of access);
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted or its processing restricted;
- object to processing, and withdraw any consent you've given, with effect for the future;
- receive the data you provided in a common electronic format (data portability).
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. You may be asked for proof of identity. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), edoeb.admin.ch.
If you are in the European Union, the GDPR may also apply. In that case, analytics is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and answering your enquiries on steps prior to a contract and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
11. Changes
This policy may be updated when the website or the services it uses change. The current version is always published on this page.
